Our Project Management Services include:-
Project management – leading or supporting project teams and providing the necessary project management disciplines. The level of support can run from full external project management to regular project consultancy meetings with internal teams with their own project managers at key milestones in the project lifecycle.
Quality audits – assessment of your quality systems and the changes needed to move toward a specific registration scheme such as ISO9000 or QS9000. As required, these audits may include specific risk assessments using standard risk management methods or analytical tools such as Process FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis)
Process
improvement and re-engineering – support to project teams set up to
improve specific processes as part of a business improvement strategy
Process analysis – flowcharting and communicating procedures and incorporation into the quality procedures manual

and diagnostic work to locate and recommend improvements to the processes which
caused the problem to arise. This is not
a fix - we go for the root cause which is more than 90% likely to reside in
your systems rather than your people.
Recent Projects have included:-
¨ Project managing a team, including external supplier representatives, on an upgrade of hardware and all major operating software for a Construction Equipment Hire Company. This included installation, staff training and the development of internal control procedures and resulted in a much shorter implementation and debugging timescale.
¨ Establishing consistent procedures in a network of depots for the management of transport and damage recovery, saving the business around £250,000 p.a. in operating costs.
¨ Assessment of security procedures and workflow for a London Examinations Board.
¨ Development of quality procedures and inspection routines for a Printing Company.
¨
Investigation of links between organisational
culture, customer perceptions and profitability for a High Street Retailer, in
conjunction with a UK University. The
results were featured nationally by the
¨ Project management of a joint customer/supplier team analysing service provision, data reporting and cost control procedures in an American Access Equipment Manufacturer.
¨ Installation of systems to support the ISO14001 environmental management standard.
¨ Conversion and transfer of data to a new system following a business acquisition.
¨ Implementing a health and safety management system and associated employment procedures and handbooks.
